Atlas Standard Masking Tape

A versatile and budget-friendly masking tape suitable for professional and DIY indoor painting tasks, equipped with a solvent-based adhesive that enhances temperature resistance compared to hot melt adhesives. It can withstand temperatures of up to 55°C. Tears effortlessly, adheres securely, and ensures clean and swift removal within 24 hours. The product is compatible with both water and solvent-based paints.

How to apply?

Hold the roll at a 45-degree angle and tear the tape cleanly. Avoid touching the adhesive side – oils from your fingers can affect stickiness.
Apply the first few inches firmly, establishing a solid base. Press down with your fingers or a smoothing tool (like a credit card) for even adhesion.
Slowly unfold the tape, applying gentle pressure as you go. Keep a straight line.
Fold the tape slightly at the edge, creating a “hinge” that contours to the angle.
Use your smoothing tool to eliminate air bubbles or wrinkles. A smooth surface ensures clean paint lines and leak-proof seals. Think of it as ironing out the imperfections for a flawless finish.
For extra security, slightly overlap successive strips of tape. This creates a seamless barrier and prevents paint bleed-through.
